Patricia Aaron


Pat Aaron is an established Denver artist that has exhibited both regionally and nationally during the past 25 years. Pat Aaron holds a M.F.A. degree from University of Denver School of Art and Art History. She earned her B.S. degree from University of Maryland, Heidelberg, Germany.

Aaron has exhibited her work locally at Center for Visual Arts at Metropolitan State College (CVA), Regis University O’Sullivan Art Gallery, Curtis Arts and Humanities Center, Loveland Museum, Gallery Cuvee, FU Collective, Spark Gallery, Studio Aiello, Sandra Phillips Gallery and Shidoni Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Aaron has also exhibited nationally in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Florida, Michigan, Virginia, Maryland and Nebraska.

Aaron has completed public art commissions for Museum of Outdoor Arts in Englewood, IGW Records in Littleton, CO and the Tobacco Free Kids Campaign in Washington D.C. Most recently her work was acquired in 2008 by Cisco Systems, Boulder, Colorado.

Pat Aaron is the current Director of SPARK Gallery located in the Arts District on Santa Fe Drive in Denver, CO. Most recently she juried the 21 UNDER 31 exhibit at SPARK. Aaron has taught sculpture at local universities and colleges since 1999. She currently instructs workshops in encaustic painting at the Art Students League in Denver.

Aaron’s work is featured in Colorado Abstract, published by Fresco Publishers, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Aaron was awarded an Artist Residency at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, Colorado in 2007, Santa Fe Art Institute, Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2000 and Virginia Center for Creative Arts in Sweet Briar, VA in 1996.
